Holiday Fun !
Living with cancer and undergoing treatment, Geraldine asked us to organise a short break for her, and husband Paul in Beetham holiday park in the lake district.
They both enjoyed staying for three nights in a lodge within the park, July 2019.
Geraldine was so delighted with our arrangements; she created a video for us - to say Thank You.
Marie's Emmerdale Wish
In 2011 Marie was granted her special wish. The short film gives an insight into how the work we do helps those affected by terminal illness, and how something as simple as an Emmerdale experience can really make all the difference to not only the applicant, but their family and friends too.
For Marie it was exactly that and she even got to meet her favourite soap star Kelvin Fletcher (Andy Sugden).
Ted, Maya & Lauren's Special Day
In 2008 we were able to grant Ted his dying wish - he wanted to spend some 'fun' time with his daughter and granddaughter making memories and enjoying the time they had left together.
As part of the wish, Ted wanted the day spent together to be recorded so that when (his granddaughter) Maya was older, she would know that her Granddad really loved her and wished he was there to watch her grow.

Steve is one of Slipknot biggest fans and has seen them at numerous festivals over the years. Being diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease however has made this very tricky recently.
When he heard they were playing in Manchester, Steve felt this might be the last time his health would enable him to attend his first ever 'undercover' Slipknot concert.
He wanted to make this a very special occasion so we were asked if we could arrange a meet and greet with the band at the concert last week.
As you can see from the photos, Corey Taylor and other members of the band duly obliged and met with Steve and his wife Joanne before the concert.
A chat and the presentation of some Slipknot merchandise made this a truly special evening for Steve. So, a big THANK YOU to Slipknot for taking the time to meet with Steve and Joanne and helping to create some special memories.
A Very Special Meet & Greet
A Very Special Message
Lemn Sissay MBE - poet, author, playwright and speaker - recently took time out from his busy schedule to record a very special video message for one of our wish applicants. Lemn is her inspiration and his poetry has got her through some tough times.
After contacting Lemn, he immediately agreed to record the video message and this was received by our wish applicant.
Her feedback after watching this was "I am moved beyond words; what an amazingly generous heart he has. I cannot tell you what this means to me. Thank you so very very much"
A BIG thank you goes out to Lemn - 10 minutes of his time has made a HUGE difference to one of our applicants. We very much appreciate his support.
Cancer had been taking its toll on Susan and she wanted to do something special and exhilarating before having necessary surgery.
She contacted us to see if we could arrange a flight in a helicopter for her to see the views across the White Cliffs of Dover and surrounding area. We contacted Polar Helicopters Ltd and Nathan organised a very special trip for Susan which also included her son Gavin and daughter in law, Steph.
As Susan recovers from her surgery, Steph told us "We cannot thank you all enough for giving us a wonderful day to remember, without your help we would never have been able to give her this wish. The day itself was spectacular and all the staff at Polar helicopters were amazing and kind. Our pilot was perfect and really did make us feel at ease"
We are really pleased that we could help to organise this for Susan and her family and wish her a speedy recovery from her surgery

Sports Wish Stories
John is a big fan of LFC. His support team at The Myton Hospices wanted to do something special for him and contacted us.
We were able to arrange a full tour of Anfield for him accompanied by his daughters, Dawn and Carol.
From the feedback and photos we received, John had a fantastic day, being treated like a king throughout the tour.

Behind the Scenes at LFC
Seeing Red !
Tommy is a huge LFC fan and he contacted us to see if we could organise his wish of a stadium tour and a meet and greet of the players.
We arranged this for him and his family. It looks like they all had a great day.
Everyone at HoneyRose were happy to help make this wish come true.
Living with cancer, Virginia contacted us to see if we could arrange something special for her and her husband, Malcolm.
Being a Manchester City fan, Virginia asked if we could arrange for them both to attend a match. With MCFC's help we organised a full hospitality package which included access to a box, a luxury meal with drinks, VIP seats, and a visit pitch-side before the match to see the players warm up.
Virginia and Malcolm had a fantastic day, along with a stay in a hotel nearby overnight.
Virginia fed back "I can’t put into words how amazing yesterday was, definitely a day we will never forget. From start to finish we were treated like royalty and we both absolutely loved the whole experience. Please can you convey our thanks to everyone involved in this amazing day and enormous thanks to you for arranging this incredible experience, we couldn’t have wished for anything more and this memory will stay with us both forever. Thank you!".
Living it up in the 'City'
Seeing the Blues
Robert has been a lifelong Everton fan and his wish was to have a full tour of the stadium he had been visiting since childhood.
We arranged this for him and, thanks to EFC, managed to add a couple of Everton legends to accompany him and his family.
After the tour, Robert fed back "Just a quick thank you for the very special tour of Goodison Park you arranged for myself and the family. I've followed the club since I was a young child and have been in every part of the stadium but never in the changing rooms or the players tunnel before the tour. To be accompanied by two legends like Mark Higgins and particularly Greame Sharp made it even more special. A day I will take to my grave."
