Manchester United Come To The Rescue
We received an urgent request from a 49-year-old gentleman from Manchester who had sadly been told that his illness was incurable and had been given a 2-3 month prognosis.
Robert had been a lifelong supporter of Manchester United and as he was now too sick to go to another game, he wanted something, anything to do with his team.
He had given so much of himself to the club, it was time they gave something back.
We contacted the team at Manchester United and they were fantastic! They offered to get the whole team to sign a Pennant that Robert could cherish forever and send it to his home.
We told Robert what the team planned to do and he was thrilled!
His Daughter-In-Law contacted us to say:
My Sons Grandad Rob is over the moon and so happy! Kane felt so proud and moved taking it to his Grandad. Rob said today is a bad day for him, and on a good day he will have a clearer picture. Thankyou so much to you, the HoneyRose Foundation and Manchester United too. Please can you forward this to the people you contacted at United. Rob said he would like you all to see that he has got it and that he has had the pennant put on his wall facing his bed. He has also asked Kane to put them both in a picture frame for his wall too.
If you are suffering from a terminal illness and feel that a day like this could benefit you or someone you know, why not contact us and see if we can help!!
